Data Handling Policy

Our architecture is designed around what we don't know. We prioritize your anonymity by minimizing data collection and maximizing data destruction.

What We Don't Know

Information we never collect, see, or store.

IP Addresses & Logs
We do not record IP addresses, browser fingerprints, or access logs. Your connection metadata is never stored.
Personal Identity
No registration, email, or phone number is required. We have no way to link a note to a specific person.
Raw Note Content
Notes are encrypted in your browser before reaching us. Our servers only see and store unreadable ciphertext.

How We Delete It

Mechanisms ensuring your data is gone forever.

RAM-Only Processing
Decryption keys exist only in your browser's volatile memory. They are never written to our disk storage.
Immediate Wiping
Once a note is read, the data is instantly and permanently erased from the database with no recovery option.
No Backups
We deliberately disable database backups for note storage tables to prevent any potential data recovery.
Security Architecture

Military-Grade Encryption

Privnvte employs a zero-knowledge architecture. Your data is encrypted in your browser using AES-256-GCM before it ever reaches our servers. We cannot read your notes even if we wanted to.

Client-Side Encryption

Encryption keys are generated in your browser and appended to the URL as a hash fragment. They are never sent to the server.

Immediate Destruction

Once a note is retrieved, it is permanently deleted from our database. No backups, no logs, no recovery.
